When Faith Leads to 8-Figures

Although Myron Golden is now an 8-figure entrepreneur, he came from humble beginnings. He grew up poor and was the second born of six brothers in a segregated hospital. He also overcame the physical challenges of polio, proving that true strength comes from within.

Myron got started as an entrepreneur at the age of 25 in the financial services industry. He sold insurance and investments and at first was terrible at it. However, he stuck with it and eventually mastered valuable skills like sales and marketing.

Over time, Myron's business ventures grew and he started making $100,000 a month consistently. He then upgraded his lifestyle and purchased several high-value cars and a million-dollar home…right before the market crash of 2008.

At the time, Myron had clients who owed him over a quarter of a million dollars who vanished into thin air. His income went from 6-figures a month to almost nothing. Banks and opportunities started to tighten up and Myron knew he had to make a change.

In 2009, Myron went out and built a network marketing organization in four months. He grew the business to a team of 5,000 people and started to rebuild his income. However, the product he was selling was changed by the company and he lost everything again.

On top of that, he owed the IRS a ton of money and his mother passed away. Myron also lost his home and cars. He borrowed money from family and friends and rented a home in Tampa.

In 2014, Myron's entrepreneurial ventures were fruitless. Nothing was coming together, but he knew he had to push through. Then, he received a sales letter from sales funnel expert Russell Brunson about his Inner Circle program. 

Myron knew he needed to be in this program, but it cost $25,000 and he didn't have it. He got creative and was able to negotiate a payment plan to join. Inside the Inner Circle, Myron surrounded himself with high level entrepreneurs.

Myron realized that the reason he was broke was because he was selling to the wrong people. He was selling to people who needed something instead of desiring it. Through this shift, Myron raised his prices and started making offers to people who didn't need the money. 

This strategy paid off big time and people started buying from Myron like it was going out of style. Through his incredible faith in God and an unshakable determination to win, Myron is now at the top of his entrepreneurial game.

In our recent live call with Myron, he shared a ton of valuable wisdom for today's entrepreneurs. Let's look at four top takeaways:

Practical Prayer

When it comes to a practical approach to merging faith with business, Myron advises people to walk in the spirit, which means praying for guidance and then listening for the spirit's instructions. He also says that we need to walk in obedience to God to get future guidance.

When it comes to reading scripture, Myron says we shouldn't be looking to God's word to validate our ideas. Instead of filtering scripture through an ideas strainer, we should filter our ideas through a scripture strainer. Read and study the bible to find out what it has to offer without an agenda to prove.

Leaders Who Learn

When looking for people to take under his wing, Myron says the special ones are those who put his advice and guidance into practice. When people implement his advice and make real changes in their lives and businesses, it shows Myron that his words and time weren't wasted.

Myron invests his effort, energy, and attention into people who are coachable. Being receptive and following through are also top qualities. Worst case scenario, if things don't work out, at the very least it'll be a great testimony. Best case scenario? The person becomes a client for life. 

Skills for Success

When asked about the most valuable skills entrepreneurs should have in the next decade, Myron says sales is at the top of the list. If you can't sell, it doesn't matter how good your product is. Audience building is also key because if you don't have someone's attention, you don't have a sale.

Entrepreneurs should also master money management. Myron says the thing that determines most whether you're rich, poor, or middle-class is what you do with a dollar after you get it.

Give It to God

As a man of faith, Myron weaves biblical nuggets of wisdom into his coaching and teachings. In our discussion, he told the story of King Solomon who became the wealthiest man in the world because God told him to ask for what he wanted

Myron says if this becomes your mouth's prayer and heart's desire every day of your life, you'll be blown away by what comes back. When you ask God for the wisdom to serve your clients and live out your purpose, you'll start to notice way more opportunities to lead you down the right path.
