A True Veteran of the Game
Before Anthony Powell made it big, his journey took him on quite the ride.
At the age of 19, Anthony was attending college and in a 10-year internship program for a healthcare company. While attending classes, Anthony asked one of his economics teachers why he chose to teach instead of using his knowledge of business in the real world.
The teacher wasn't happy that Anthony asked, but it was in that moment he knew he wasn't going to master financial literacy in school.
A friend of Anthony's took him to a meeting for a nutraceutical supplement company where he met Mark Doyle. Mark earned around $190 million in the industry and that inspired Anthony.
Having about a hundred dollars to his name, Anthony went to work in Mark's office while still in university and his internship. Mark taught Anthony how to become a digital closer and he fell in love with the process.
Anthony quit college, lost his housing at school, and started sleeping on a camping cot in Mark's office. He started his days with a shower at a truck stop and then he tackled all the calls and errands Mark needed him to do.
At the end of his first year of learning from Mark, Anthony was able to get up to $10,000 a month. He took his profits, reinvested them, and by his second year, he was doing $30,000 a month.
By the time Anthony was 26, he was making between 13 and 14 million.
Anthony also got to work with Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins' personal mentor. From his twenties to age 30, he flew all over the world with Jim and learned how to be an effective entrepreneur.
Next, Anthony started his own speaking career. He's been in front of audiences of up to 50 million people across 90 different countries. After 18 years, he decided to take five years off - a well-deserved break.
Once he was ready to get back in the game, he developed a two-step closing process that enabled Anthony to do $2 billion in sales. He was able to bring over a million of his subscribers across social media into this system and now, he teaches others to do the same.
Through sharing his process, Anthony's gone on to create over 200 millionaires, thousands of six-figure earners, and tens of thousands more making between $500 and $5,000 a month.

On our call inside the School of Mentors Community, Anthony shared a ton of practical wisdom for today's entrepreneurs. Here are four top takeaways:
Setting the Stage
According to Anthony, building a business comes in three stages. In stage one, you're building and gaining momentum, which is often the hardest part. In the second stage, your furthering that momentum, In the final stage, you learn how to continually reinvest cash back into your business.
Once you've completed the three stages, you can then delegate and allow people to take tasks off your table. While you're building your business, Anthony advises not to give into temptation. When a lot of money starts coming in, you might want to take some out and buy something flashy.
Don't worry about what others think of you. Just focus on yourself and your business.
Flipping the Script
Anthony's signature closing process all comes down to very specific scripts, which allowed him to do $2 billion in business. His ability to control the message allows for less time on sales calls, which usually last about 20 minutes.
When you cut down the time it takes on sales calls, you do more of them in less time and close more deals. Anthony says it typically takes him three versions of a script before he knows he nailed it. Once he does, everything becomes a win-win.
Scaling On the Cheap
If you need to scale but don't have the money, Anthony advises to really monitor your spending, including your living expenses. Doing this will give you a 10x return on the backend, but you have to figure it out first.
When he was just starting out, everyone made fun of Anthony for living below his means, but it eventually allowed him to reach $10,000 a month and the rest is history. The key is to figure out how you can squeeze out enough cash to scale. Make money and reinvest it first and later on, you turn a profit.
Master Your Mind
When Anthony wakes up in the morning, he says what he's grateful for out loud. Doing this helps reprogram the subconscious mind and eliminates that downward spiral that can throw you off course. After that, he hits the gym, then does an hour of personal development.
Jim Rohn taught Anthony that it's all about highlighting your own strong suits. Over every 90 days of personal development, your mind goes through a growth spurt, allowing you to be more patient, confident, and stay on top of your game.
